Shipping

Please be sure to check the shipping address for accuracy when your order is placed. Purchaser is responsible for additional shipping charges if an order is returned to due to an incorrect address and must be re-shipped.

Domestic Orders

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS and UPS and include free Signature Confirmation. In the event the orders are returned due to couriers inability to obtain signature confirmation, the purchaser will be responsible for re-shipment charges and signature confirmation fees. If order is returned and thereafter customer requests cancellation, the order will be subject to 20% cancellation/restocking fee and refund will be made less shipping costs.

International (Canada & UK) Orders

All international orders are shipped via USPS Prority Mail International (6-10 days), USPS First Class Package International (varies by country), or USPS Express International (3-5 days). USPS is cheap and relaiable. If you wish to utlize another carier, such as DHL, UPS, or FedEx, please contact us before placing you order. 

Please note that import duty, taxes, and other fees may be imposed by your local government for any items purchased outside of your home country. In the event such fees are imposed by your government, the purchaser is responsible for the payment of those duty, taxes, or fees. 

Please also be informed that A Modest Styles is not responsible for delayed or lost shipments. We will provide you with a customs number but do not have control over your order once we turn it over to the carrier or once your shipment leaves the United States. 

Handling & Processing

All orders are generally dispatched within 1 business day (excluding holidays) after receipt of payment. Shipping fees include packing fees as well as postage costs (we don't charge you for handling). Postage costs vary according to total weight and size of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Packages are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

Returns

 In order to process your store credit/exchange, please CONTACT US

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase of our products, you will have the choice of store credit or exchange less a 20% restocking fee. If you ordered during a free shipping promotion, we will also deduct the original shipping cost from your order. You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery of your decision to receive store credit or exchange a product and we must receive your return within 10 business days. Once your return has been received and inspected, store credit will be made available upon our notification and exchanges will be dispatched within 1 business day. To help us serve you better, we set these guidelines for store credits/exchanges.

  • Inspect all items upon receiving them. Make sure that there is no damage that is attributable to causes that may arise during shipment.
  • If you wish to return and exchange, please state the problem clearly in your email and what you wish to receive in exchange for the returned item: another product or store credit.
  • The returned merchandise should be in the same condition as when it was shipped, that is, untailored, new and unwashed, and must be shipped in the original packaging with all tags attached. 
  • The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs to return the product, unless the reason for the return is a defect in the merchandise or the wrong item was shipped out, in which case A Modest Styles shall absorb the costs. Please ship returns with delivery confirmation and insurance because we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. If the items are lost in transit, the customer is responsible for filing an insurance claim with the shipping company.
  • No exchanges will be shipped or credits will be made until we have the items which are being returned in hand. 
  • Defective manufacturer merchandise will be refunded along with the original shipping charges after we inspect the item(s). Products damaged by customer will not be accepted as defective merchandise.
